the rating tag issue

Hello
If I rip with some format that end up being an id3v2 tag header
where is the rating stored and in which format
I would think it is POPM but I get this reading on this tag in binary

0000000: 57 69 6E 64 6F 77 73 20 4D 65 64 69 61 20 50 6C Windows Media Pl

so what do you store? given you can give half stars like 3.5 but it is not stored as string

or it is in another tag frame ?

We would not store with Windows Media Player, it sounds as though WMP is changing your ID Tags, which it will do unless told not to.
