IPv6 was not the issue (the change of the setting might have forced the local router to get a new IP address and then it worked for that person).

    Hi There,

just noticed I cannot access or ping www.accuraterip.com from Hungary, UPC ISP either.

I can access it from the vodafone mobile network however. Tried rebooting the modem, router, no change.

Did not understand much from the AAAA record, IPv6 stuff. Is there anything else I can try to get it working?

    Thanks in advance!

Just to echo a lot of other posts here, I've had intermittent problems over the last 2-3 days too - it was working fine late this morning through to about 1:30pm but I've just got back at around 10pm and it is down again. I hope moving it to the old servers fixes it, as it doubles my ripping time to say nothing of the accuracy loss. :(

AccurateRip will be restored to the old servers tomorrow afternoon, I just want to see if there is repeatability in the timing (where people said it was a certain time when they can access, and it seems repeatable).

This is getting quite frustrating now. I've not been able to rip anything since 2pm today (UK time) and had to re-rip a load of CDs that didn't rip accurately last night in the absence of accuraterip (using up precious amg credits).

Going out now and had hoped to leave it ploughing through the disks while I was out, but clearly that's not going to happen. Seems like I purchased dbpoweramp at just the wrong time!

Think I'll just give up on the whole idea for a few weeks until this is resolved.

Think i've mentioned it before, but. My neighbor hasn't had any problems connecting at all. And he is on a different ISP than me. :o

Same here in the US- I can get the website from my Sprint phone, but from my home computers I cannot reach the website or servers through EAC. Wasn't working last night, then it worked for a bit this morning, now it's offline again.

Here's the pertinent info from my traceroute:

Wish i had that "problem". I could live with not being able to contact the site. As long as i could reach AR database through EAC and CUETools.

    btw .. kinda off subject .. what's the difference between v1 & v2 ? is v2 more 'accurate'?

Was working between 10.30am > 15.00 pm. Now it's all down again.

As for the poster before me stating that accuraterip.com works. Well, i bet my pants that's a cache thing.

However. Its all down again. I don't understand why it can be working for several hours just to suddenly stop working again. Over and over. I'm mighty confused.

Yes, slightly annoying as I have to keep a constant eye on my automated batch rip to make sure it's still talking to accuraterip, meaning I have to pause it when I go out and overnight. Totally defeats the object of batch ripping!

This has just stopped working again for me (UK). It stopped at roughly the same time yesterday (around 2PM UK time).

If yesterday is anything to go by, then it will start working again at about 7pm.
