I'm using version 14 reference of dbpoweramp. If I rip a CD using secure rip, the rip will never show as error free and will always re-rip every CD. Due to the number of retries it always takes and the read slowdown, it will take over one hour to rip a CD in perfect condition (read that as not a single scratch on the play side). It has taken over two hours to rip a single CD.
The funny thing is when I turn off secure rip and use Burst, all my CDs show as ripped accurately and match the AccurateRip results in the database. This seems to be an issue of some form with Secure Rip on my system.
I've actually stopped using dbpoweramp CD ripper and record digitally from a CD transport connected to my audio interface in Sound Forge. My recording actually goes faster than using dbpoweramp CD Ripper in secure mode.
I have two SATA BluRay drives in my system that I rip from-- LG WH10LS30
