DBPoweramp 14 - CDGrab.exe - Problem

I used dbpoweramp 13.5 Reference 'til now without any problems. I have updated to dbpoweramp 14 Reference "Family Pack) - and now I have a big problem. :cry:

dbpoweramp 14 (CDgrab.exe) hangs up at the last track on every CD. For example a CD with 15 tracks: Track 1 to 14 will be ripped and at track 15 the rip starts and at 95% it stops. The software can only be closed with the task manager. I tried several CD's - same problem.

I already de-installed the software and cleaned the registry. After new installing dbpoweramp 14 - same problem.

So I went back to dbpoweramp 13.5 Reference - and everything works fine without any problem.

Any ideas what this could be?

My PC works with Windows XP SP 3 - all existing patches are installed.

Did you check the 'Over-Read' option? perhaps it should not be checked for your drive.

Well, this option is checked since I use dbpoweramp (actual 13.5) and I never had problems with this.

For your information:
I'm using an external drive "Yamaha CRW-F1 SCSI"

With dbpoweramp 14 I have the problems with both drives - the external and the internal drive

Please upload a screen shot of the metadrop menu to somewhere like imageshack.

The previous version of dBpoweramp would not overread correctly on some drives, it is highly likely that the Yamaha cannot overread.

I´ve got exactly the same problem after upgrading! Also XP/SP3 and never had problems with earlier versions. My drive is : HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20L.

Did you check the 'Over-Read' option? perhaps it should not be checked for your drive

Where can I check it? Or is there already another solution?

It should be unchecked, it is CD Ripper >> Options

The line is titled 'Read into Lead-in or Lead out'
