Got a freebie CD from a newspaper for which iTunes got the track details but CD ripper didn't - thought it was just that someone had updated the itunes db with info but nobody had yet done that for CD Ripper's sources. However, when I played the CD in the car, I noticed it had CDtext. So, told CD ripper to explicitly try CDtext as a source, but still no luck. Or maybe it's because I had manually given the CD an album title but couldn't be bothered entering the tracks myself?
Anyway, it seems as if some programs can see the CDtext, while others can't. MediaMonkey can't as well, for example, but randomly downloading something called All4CDlabeller does seem to pick them up - as does WMP.
Are there different formats of CDtext that some programs recognise while others don't?
