I know that looking up CDs is often problematic with short CDs such as singles, but today I just had a mis-recognized album: 'The Original Sound of Sheffield '78/'82' by Cabaret Voltaire. It has 14 tracks, and is 65 minutes long. CD Ripper picked it up as a different Cabaret Voltaire record 'Johnny YesNo', which only has 6 tracks and is about 37 minutes long.
Fair enough, PerfectMeta can't get everything right (despite the name! :D), but when I did the Alt+M thing to review the matches, I see that GD3, MusicBrainz and Freedb all selected the right album (The Original Sound), only AMG mis-picked it. Therefore, what is PerfectMeta's algorithm for choosing the result? It seems to have picked AMG but I think the agreement of GD3, MusicBrainz and Freedb should override it.
Finally, related to this - when you change the match manually like this, it doesn't re-fetch the album art, so in this case I was still stuck with the mis-matched cover from AMG. Is there a way to force it to refresh just the cover art? I couldn't see anything. I am using the R14 beta.
