    toshiba PA3761U-1DV2 BAD?

I just got a Toshiba PA3761U-1DV2 external USB drive. dbpoweramp detects no cache, and the program freezes when attempting the c2 test???

Thanks for the help. pardon this uniformed question, but I'm not at home right now to look through the options. What 8k option are you referring to? and will it help with the cache detection, or the C2 test?

It is under the C2 pointer check box.

I have release 13.2, I don't see anything under the C2 pointer check box.

ah, just found 13.3. Still crashed. I tried another USB port and it immediately said that there were no errors (using a disc with the "sharpie triangle" method). So it seems to not have c2 support. I have an old Dell Inspiron, maybe the back USB ports are 1.1, and the fronts are 2.0. Either way, it seems odd that the drive wouldn't have c2 or a cache. Maybe I should just trudge back to Best Buy and get an internal drive. The USB connectivity in my computer may be inferior.
