I just got a Toshiba PA3761U-1DV2 external USB drive. dbpoweramp detects no cache, and the program freezes when attempting the c2 test???

 Re: toshiba PA3761U-1DV2 BAD?

ah, just found 13.3. Still crashed. I tried another USB port and it immediately said that there were no errors (using a disc with the "sharpie triangle" method). So it seems to not have c2 support. I have an old Dell Inspiron, maybe the back USB ports are 1.1, and the fronts are 2.0. Either way, it seems odd that the drive wouldn't have c2 or a cache. Maybe I should just trudge back to Best Buy and get an internal drive. The USB connectivity in my computer may be inferior.Comment
