no GD3 or MusicBrainz after annual renewal

    no GD3 or MusicBrainz after annual renewal

    I am only seeing AMG and Freedb after renewing my subscription. Any ideas?

    GD3, Musicbrainz and AMG are all on the same license, so if one works then nothing would be restricting the others (outside of firewalls or proxy servers).

      I have noticed something similar just recently.

      Previously when I have inserted a CD I have been able to go to the 'review perfectmeta matches' option which brings up a useful screen which lists all of the meta data by each provider and then highlights in red any which have variances.

      Recently this review option has not been available on my toolbar. Does anyone know why this is?

              Sometimes I think that too much prior knowledge is assumed on this forum.


              A couple of questions:

              How do I know what version I am using?

              Is my problem anything to do with the version? I used to be able to see a list of all of the metadata and now I can not. I have not changed versions in the meantime.

              Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

                Goto Start>Programs>dbPoweramp>Configuration>dbPoweramp Configuration
                This will open a dialog describing all of the dbp components you have installed and what version they are.

                I am not sure if this is your problem or not but I seem to recall there being an issue with one of the point releases (13.2 I think) which prevented using MusicBraniz. I think the fix was in point release 13.3. Maybe Spoon can offer more insight as to whether or not this might be your problem

                    It is certainly possible to deal with a problem by stating that it SHOULD not exist, but unfortunately, it does. Nothing has changed in my setup except the renewal of the license. When I review meta data, only AMG and freedb have entries.

                      A gentle poke on this - I am unable to get results from GD3 or MusicBrainz after renewing my license.

                        dBpoweramp Configuration >> Music Converter >> Enable Debugging,

                        Open CD Ripper, insert 1 cd, wait for meta data, then close CD Ripper, log appears - post here please.
