FUA is for Plextor drives only, you have a Plextor drive?

No I do not have a Plextor drive, so I guess I cannot use FUA. How can I use Ultra Secure ripping & C2 Pointer?

Yes c2 and Ultra should give no problems.

But I am unable to encode using Secure Rip with Ultra Secure Ripping & C2 pointer checked or unchecked. In both case FUA is unchecked. Even with Test conversion it does not rip.

With "Burst" it is ripping & encoding.

Let me update to the present status:

Laptop with Vista o/s:
No ripping & encoding with "Burst" or "Secure" even on Test Conversion.

Laptop with Windows XP o/s:
Ripping & Encoding using "Burst".
Not ripping or encoding using "Secure", even on test conversion. FUA is unchecked.

On the Vista Machine try >> Options >> Communication >> Windows Built In (as a test)

Some good news at last; I reconfigured Vista & now it is ripping & encoding with Secure Rip but with C2 pointer unchecked. Though the drive supports C2 pointer. Can you help me with this?

Secondly I am unable to activate AMG even though I am entering the order number.

I sent the laptop to the company & they reinstalled Vista & it started secure ripping with C2 pointer unchecked.

Are you 100% sure your drive supports C2?

Yes, it says in the tech details of the drive & I also conducted the test with a merked CD & it showed detection.

I havent recd a reply to the problem of C2 as yet.
