I can't find this in FAQ, and I find it hard to believe no one has asked this before, so here I go ...
I have recently ripped two CDs with widely varying results. The first was brand new and the ripper said Accurate (2). The second is second hand, but visibly in good condition, the ripper said Accurate (51). The tags for each say Confidence 2 and the other did say 51 before I inadvertently wiped some of the tags.
Another I have just ripped is also second hand with a heap of visible scratches, the ripper says Accurate (5)
Both of the first two sound fine and so is the one that has visible scratches, so far anyway.
I am somewhat confused, what am I to deduce from these widely diverging numbers? Does a low number indicate more accuracy or less?:headbang:
