Re: Convert flac => wav; keep meta data
In your flacs, populate the TRACKTOTAL and DISCTOTAL tags.
Launch:
dBpoweramp Control Center > Configuration > Advanced Settings and tick the Update 'Source', 'Encoder' etc. option.
Convert flac => wav; keep meta data

Re: Convert flac => wav; keep meta data
wow, tx for the quick response!
And sorry for confusing you.
I just figured out, that some of my older flac files still contain the pattern xx/yy, for "track" and for "disc" so, the conversion worked correct.
Question 1:
May I change the pattern for track and disc (from xx/yy to xx; where xx is current track or disc and yy is total tracks or discs) in the meda data,
when I convert the file from flac to wav with the batch converter?
Question 2:
I realized, that some "dbpoweramp fields" are not updated during the batch converter process e.g. "Encoded by", which should change from 14.2 to 17.2
and "Encoder" which should changed from flac to wav

Re: Convert flac => wav; keep meta data
For wave, ID3v2 tags are used and these store the track number and disc number as numbers not strings, "01" is a string, 1 is a number.Leave a comment:

Where are you seeing 01/11 change to 1/11?Leave a comment:

Convert flac => wav; keep meta data
Hello
after converting flac files to wav,
all meta data is transfered correctly besides
- track number
- Disc number
After conversion the track and disc number has changed to the format 1/11
I would like to keep the two digit pattern 01 without the total added.
Can I use the meta edit rules in the batch converter to define the pattern for track and disc?
If so, what will be the exact rule/command?
Tx
