    Audio converter Engine

    Hi,

    How to use ACE ?
I configure a new profile but I can't select a codec for conversion. The "Convert to" choice list is empty.
    Somebody could help ?

    Thanks,
    nA

    Hi,

I have same troublesheet. The context "Convert to" is empty.

    OS 7 64bit
    ACE : 4.1.2.0 - 32 bit installed
    DbPowerAmp : 15.3.0.2 for 64 bit

    Thanks,

        Re: Audio converter Engine

You need 32 bit dBpoweramp installed, see:

The 64 bit release of dBpoweramp will only work correctly with 64 bit codecs. In Codec Central the codecs which are indicated as 32 bit only will not work with the 64 bit version of dBpoweramp. CD Writer CD Writer cannot be compiled to 64 bit, it is 32 bit only.

          Hi Spoon,

Are you sure ? ACE is installed in the folder 64bit programs.
I completed the installation of 32-bit dBpoweramp but the result is the same.
Does the number of CPU cores on the host station to matter?
The purchased version is a version of ACE 2 CPU cores.
The host station is equipped with a 4-core CPU.

Number of CPUs does not matter, all that counts is both ACE and dBpoweramp are installed to the default locations. Try uninstall both, then install ACE, it is installs to 64 bit location then install 64 bit dbpoweramp. to same location.

              Hello,
              I tried this without success.
              (Intel i5, Windows 7 enterprise)

I completely de-installed dBpoweramp and ACE.
I erased all traces in the registry.
I launched the installation of ACE as shown (before dBpoweramp).
This time, ACE is installed in the x86 folder (?) C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Illustrate \ dBpoweramp
Then, without forcing it to the 32bit installation, dBpoweramp was installed under the same tree. This did not happen before.
              It works now.
