Asset has the ability to display custom ID Tags (non-standard), with a little configuring.
For example your FLAC library contains a unique tag of 'MOOD', you can add this to asset by:
Start >> Run >> Regedit:
Browse to:
It turns out that you need to index TEMPO if you want Asset to read the TBPM field in mp3's... Indexing BPM does not work for mp3, but is needed for FLAC.
The workaround, since you obviously want to have the two file formats in the same "beats per minute" tree, is to re-tag all your FLACs with a TEMPO field, but hey... that shouldn't be necessary when BPM is the proper term (and is also more commonly used).
It's also awkward since BPM (TBPM) and TEMPO (SYTC) are two different things: https://id3.org/id3v2.3.0
It would suit better if indexing BPM would read the TBPM/BPM fields and indexing TEMPO would read the SYTC/TEMPO fields.
