Re: Asset UPnP Premium V4.7 not working properly on TS-219P+
Hi Spoon,
I have ran and double checked the R5b10 app again today.
ASSET UPNP shows up in the list on my device but on selecting it in the list it searches, but fails and returns a "Network Error".
I ran the debugging logging, but as anticipated the debugging log is blank (asset-debug-asset.txt) as it doesn't appear to be even able to connect to it to start any process running, despite the fact it is listed as a UPNP multimedia source.
As a blank log it is useless to you so I haven't uploaded it.
I supplied the previous R5B7 log to show that this version does appear to work properly on my QNAP NAS and is accessible via the RUARK and other multimedia devices on my network, which resolves potentially the failure of R4.7.1 to work only in super slow audio mode.
Whatever changes have been made in R5b10 have completely made it non-accessible to any of my multimedia devices on the network despite the fact they all see it e.g. it is listed but then comes up with a Network Device Settings Error.
As Twonky Media installed also on my QNAP continues to work without any issues from any of the same multimedia devices this rules out any local hardware or network failures/ issues thast could be causing this, therefore it must be down to a coding change made after R5b7.
Let me know if I can be of any further help.
Herb.
