    Accessing Asset settings on Windows

    I've been using AssetUPNP on a NAS for a while but I'd like to try running it from my Windows laptop. I have installed AssetUPNP successfully and it's working but I have a couple of questions about accessing it;

    1. How do I get to the settings? I have set up a short cut to AssetConfig.exe. Is this the "proper" way? No shortcuts appeared after installation.
    2. How do I get to the activation page? I have had one instance where Asset wasn't running and the fix was to go here and nudge it. Now I can't find it :-(

    The install would have created icons, look Start >> Asset UPnP

      Thank you. I've got in a bit of a tangle but I think I have got things sorted out thanks to your help.

      No icons were created during the install, usually with an install there's the option to create desk top icons, I didn't see that. I first installed the trial version, I'd forgotten how registration works, and I didn't see anything in the Start menu after that (yes I know, weird). Then I installed a registered version. I didn't look in Start because I just assumed there'd be nothing there. I've just looked and I have this (see screen shot) which is what I want though I don't know why Asset-Windows etc appears twice. Maybe because I did two installs and I can get rid of one? I now have a desk top icon for Asset UPNP config so I'm sorted. Any comment on the duplicate Asset-Windows etc gratefully accepted :-)

      Thanks,
      John

        I've worked out what those two entries are.

        Thanks for your help.
