I have some discs that I ripped that some of the tracks did not come out well.(Moments of silence, jumps in the music and jumps between tracks, tracks that do not rip at all. All of these discs looked in pristine condition, when looked at in bright light. But parts did not rip well.

- I convert said FLAC to whatever
- the new file(s) have "dBpoweramp" in the comment tag
- if I have made a comment in the original FLAC, it is also overwritten with "dBpoweramp"

obviously this is coming from the original rip......

Thank you garym. The author distinguishes between file name and tag. If I understand him correctly, what he calls tags appears to be in dBpoweramp the categories in Set File Naming. So are file names different from tags in dBpoweramp? If so, please explain.
