Multiple values in FLAC tags

Hi, I'm upgrading my FLAC tags and need some clarifications.

1.
From what I understand, Asset supports multiple values in tags, but only for the most common tags. The limit is then 4 multiple values. Is this correct?


2.
The supported FLAC tags with multiple values seem to be:

ALBUM ARTIST
ALBUM ARTIST SORT
ARTIST
ARTIST SORT
COMPOSER
COMPOSERSORT
SOLOISTS
SOLOISTSSORT
STYLE
GENRE

Is this list correct?

Also, please fill in if I have forgotten any supported tag - I want to know all of them.


3.
What if I use custom tags and index them in Asset - are multiple values supported and is there still a limit? If so, is it 1 or 4 or something else?

1. Yes
2. No all tags are supported as multiple
3. when defining the value you set as:

t_tagname,3,INTEGER

so it will store multiples

Nice that all tags are supported! Even custom tags!

I saw that list in another thread but you seem to have upgraded Asset since then. Is this the case?

Or was that list for some other limitation with multiple values?

Never mind. I found the other thread again and it seems that you have upgraded Asset this autumn. I can't tell you how pleased I am to see that you enhanced the support for multiples! It will be very useful for me.

Hi,

When the limitation to 4 multiple values for a tag will be optionally possible to rise : it is very frustrating to have only 4 artists in classical music...
