Restarting Asset UPnP - how long should it take?

Hi all

I have a problem using my Naim NDX streamer with Asset UPnp, it was working all ok a few weeks back but now the Naim app only recognises a few albums out of many

I have spoken to Naim and after various ideas am still without full access to all my albums stored on my WD hard drive.

It has been suggested to re boot the Asset software but upon clicking "Restart Asset UPnP" on the bottom left of the Asset front page it seems to just hang, am I doing something wrong?

You say music is on your WD hard drive …. what is your Asset UPnP installed on.
Also what is the Naim app on?

Asset is installed on an iMac (as is WD HD)

Naim app is on an iPad

Can you browse the music folders on the iMac? try copying the a few tracks to the mac Documents folder to see if they can be read.

yes, I am able to play the music files via iTunes on the iMac
