In Asset UPnP Configuration >> Advanced Settings >> General Settings
make sure [artist] - [title] for Various Artist album tracks is ticked.

Everything appears to be in order. I use Asset for windows and this is working ok. Maybe it is a bug in Asset for the Mac.

Let's see what else Spoon suggests.

I'm having the same issue browsing compilation albums under R5 on a Windows7 PC. On the Naim app, when I browse to Various Artists under the Album Artist / Album option I can't see the track artist. I installed Asset Control on the PC to browse the library and that works fine. Naim support suggested I install 8Player Lite which wasn't much better; it displayed Album Artist under the track name. It's the same going through the Album option. Was Asset Control ever issued on iOS? Any other suggestions? The Asset display options and compilation tags mentioned above are all correct.

I've just downloaded Kinsky (having read this suggestion on another thread) and it displays them perfectly. I'll feed this back to Naim!!

Asset R5 is in testing now for those platforms, see the testing section of this forum, this issue should be fixed.

Did you manage to see this corrected behaviour?
I've got another thread running on the Naim forum to see if someone can who me this working in the Naim App.

Spoon - what metadata values need to be in place for the [artist] - [title] for Various Artist album tracks option to come into play?

The issue has been fixed in the 2 beta versions of Asset, see the testing section of this forum.

Hi, Just updated to 4.7 and the problem of losing artists has manifest itself again.

Anyone else?
