Problem Fixed !!!
Uploaded new Synology software release DSM -7.1.1-42962 UpDate 8
This now shows all the previously missing links/visuals, opens and operates Asset on Synology GUI correctly, including Asset Config (IP +45537) and displays and functions correctly on Ipad & Android apps.
I suspect all it really needed was a reinstall of the current DSM version, but Synology refuse to run previous software versions and that includes the current version.
