Low quality of Up Stream Artwork

The quality of folder covers (for example, of album artists) is very poor when Up Stream Artworks option enabled. Why? Is it possible to make something to improve quality of folder covers?

Sizes of covers are 600x600 pixels.

Which Asset version do you have? what is asset running on? this picture of the control point, what is the control point?

Asset 5 for Windows XP. Running on my NAS DIY: Gigabyte-ga-c1037un-e, imbedded CPU Celeron 2 Core 1.8 GHz, RAM 2 GB, SSD 2TB for audio library, SATA DOM 4GB for OS. Control Point - Lumin 5.0 and Linn Kazoo.

For Asset to supply the art in the upstream it has to resize the art as it makes no sense on supplying full size art when there are 300 album artists shown as sending over full resolution art would slow the browse. The art is resized using the GDI built into windows, this is limited to the color space of Windows, so make sure that Windows is set to true colours (32 bit or 24 bit).

Looking a your screenshot of the configuration program it looks like 256 colors...

Yes. It's 256 colors (8 bit).
OK, I will try to set 24 or 32 bit.

I set depth of color 32 bits in the register and made Refresh All in the Asset UPnP Configuration and now everything is all right.
