Hello,
I'm running UPnP 4 on a dedicated music server with WHS and power pack 3.
When listening to music on my Linn Akurate DS I get dropouts on a regular basis and I found out that this happens only when UPnP is scanning the library/counting audio tracks (which IMHO happens too often even if no new tracks were added).
So my question:
Is it possible to disable the scanning/counting function for a certain time (especially when trying to enjoy gapless music )
I tried to turn off UPnP but of course this didn't help at all; the next thing was to disable "Detect & catalog new tracks" but that didn't prevent UPnP from scanning.
It would be great to have a function like anti-virus programs offer where you can determine the time when scanning shall take place e.g. during the night time. Maybe UPnP already has such a feature and I just wasn't able to find it?
Any help appreciated
