    Id3 Tags?

Hello guys once again nice program,

Question I disable the " Write album art as folder", WINDOWS XP, after I've ripped the first cd. I go to the folder and I don't see nothing, When i copy the music from PC to mac the album art for example "small art, large art it shows like 5 of them and other stuff also. how can i disable this in order to have only the songs from the cd nothing else.

    Thank you,

    K'

            So in CD Ripper:

            Options >>

uncheck the 'write album art as folder.jpg'

then click ID Tags >> Options

and uncheck the Album Art option.

            Rerip the files.

I think you are seeing album art from CDs ripped in Windows Media Player. Show hidden files in Windows Explorer and you should see the offending files.

As I said, if you see 5 hidden jpeg files in the folder, that CD was ripped with Windows Media Player. The only way to get rid of the files is to show hidden files in Windows and delete them.

When you said the cd was ripped with WMP means that someone else did it right? because I use dbpoweramp cd ripper to rip my cds. When i go to "file view" and select show hide files" i don't see any of those albums.. it's something wrong with dBpoweramp..

                        Please help..

dMC writes one "folder.jpg" file when you tell it to write the album art to a folder.jpg. If you are seeing multiple JPEGs with names such as "album art large" and "album art small" and they are hidden, those files came from WMP, whether by ripping or applying meta-data to the files with WMP (not sure if applying the meta-data makes the album art). If you only rip CDs with dMC, then somebody else ripped the CDs.

Go into the folders that you said had the multiple files on the mac and you should see the hidden JPEGs now.

Do you think that naming the file it could hurting something i have my naming settings like this:[album artist]\[album]\[track] [title]

also, the 12.2 version if i update to 12.3 do you think it might be help. I'm seeing this because before i didn't have any issues...

No, your naming scheme is fine. Upgrading to dMC r12.3 probably won't change anything. Could you post the exact filenames of the offending files you are seeing?
