    broadband?

    hey db people and all
basically iv had dial up for about 4 years and i can remember that in the last two years the highest ive ever connected at is 36.6kbps ( i was really excited beacuse my usual is 28.8kbps ) so after i conected at 36.6 i downlaoded mp3s and the speed was about 2 kb per second. my usual download speed is probably 1.5kb per second. ( i download nearly every day)
i just want to ask that if you connect at 56.6kbps what is my download speed supposed to be?
one more thing i am thinking of upgrading to 8 meg bulldog broadband but i want to ask you lots that if i connect at
.5 meg what speed can i download at
.6 meg what speed can i download at
.7 meg what speed can i download at
.8 meg what speed can i download at
and one last thing which is what am i supposed to upload at for 56.6kbps and 8 meg bulldogg broadband.
P.S MY DIAL UP RIGHT NOW IS WITH NTL.

    Re: broadband?

My dialup right now is with A1 ISP. It connects at 52-54.3 kbps, and I get typical download speeds between 4-6.1 k/sec (Hehehe, don't ask me how I got past the 5.6 limit)

Good to see you again, yassir.
