    Playing Streaming Audio

Will dbpoweramp play streaming audio? I click on a radio station link, which broadcasts mp3. dbpoweramp opens, but doesn't play the broadcast. I have tried unchecking the file associations, and making Windows Media Player the default player, but dbpoweramp still opens when the link is clicked.

If you've really set WMP as the default player for mp3 tehre's no reason why it shouldn't start automatically. My guess is that the readio station's webcast is a diffferent format, not mp3. Usually it's either Real Media or Windows Media.
