Asset Sort Order, Linn Kazoo, next problem, please help

Hello,

now I am using Asset and it works with latest Linn Kazoo.

One problem remains, have tagged my files with Metadatics and use Album Artist Sort, Composer Sort, Artist Sort and Conductor Sort. In configuration I have set to use only Sort view. But sometimes it works, most of the times it do not work. Artist Bruce Springsteen, Artist Sort Springsteen Brice for example shows me in Kazoo under B not S.

What is wrong or what did I wrong?

If you have changed tags after asset has scanned, try a rescan (refresh all).

Spoon, seems that I found out, that the sorting only works for Composer and Conductor with newest Kazoo. Artist amd Album Artist Sorts do not work. Another problem that have to be fixed by Linn .....

perhaps it helps for you to understand my problem. I am using Asset an QNAP TS-251+ NAS, Macbook Retina, OSX Sierra, with latest Kazoo as Controlpoint and have tagged all right. The Sorting tags for Artist and Album Artist do not work, also they do not work after 10 rescans.....

So, now tried it with BubbleDS Control Point on Android tablet and the sort tags for album artist and artist do also not work. Summa summarum the QNAP version of Asset 5.1 is bugged, not the mistake by Linn. Can you fix this please, have never thought that the so-called best server on the market made such problems. Do not want to say it but perhaps it will be better to use Minimserver which works like a charm. Sorry for that, on my system Asset has better sound but with these problems...

It is likely you have the files tagged in a non-standard format. Which audio type are you using? Which program is used to write the sort tags?

Audio type is FLAC. I am using Metadatics on Mac.

For flac files, "vorbis comment" tags. Some rippers incorrectly put ID3Vx tags in flac files.

Your Tagger has to write 'Artist Sort' and 'Album Artist Sort' (notice the space), this is the most used standard for flac, if it is writing ArtistSort and AlbumArtistSort then Asset will not read.

Hi, now it works, must change the tags within Metadatics. Thank you for your help Sir. How should I tag classical albums? Perhaps do you have some tips for me?
