Error message: Unable to init ASPI

I am trying to use dBpowerAMP CD ripper (CD grab?) but when I open the program, I get the error message "Unable to init ASPI". I'm not too sure of what I should to resolve this problem.

Make sure your ASPI layer is installed correctly.
