Toshiba SuperMulti Calculated Drive Offset Different from Accuraterip Offset Database

Hi everyone!

I just got an external Toshiba SuperMulti PA3834U-1DV2 and I am trying to configure it with EAC and Accuraterip. I have tried six different CDs so far and they all give me a calculated offset of +6 samples, +24 bytes, and the database gives an offset of +96 samples. I love AccurateRip and really want to be able to use it. Here is the list of CDs I used and the AccurateRip-Offset-Log.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I plugged the drive into a different computer and got the same results. Is this something I can fix, or would it have to be changed in the database? I'm sorry for the length of this post, just want to be thorough

Drives need to be properly configured with AccurateRip before they can be used. Until this step is completed, don't rip any CDs (accurate rips cannot take place until the offset of your CD Drive is known). Depending on the drive, you may only need one key disc to configure the drive. If the drive doesn't exist in the database, then you will need three matching key discs. You will find that some discs cannot be used for configuration for whatever reason. Just keep feeding it discs until it finds three matching key discs. Eventually, you'll get a message that says "Congratulations, this drive has been properly configured" (or words to that effect). Once that is done, then you can start ripping.
