    dap abbreviations

    I was just thinking of putting all the abbreviations for dbpoweramp in the FAQ.

    dap = dbpoweramp music player

    dmc = dbpoweramp music converter

    dcw = dbpoweramp cd writer

    spa = Sveta Portable Audio

    power pack = power pack

    file selector = file selector

    accuraterip = accuraterip

    auto shutdown = auto shut down

    spoon installer = Spoons installer

    dai = auxilliary input

    skin designer = skin designer

    dse = dBpowerAMP Speak Easy

    are these correct? are there anymore i have missed?

      thanks Kenny. yep that's another one. I forgot Spoons "auto shut down" and Spoons "installer" too.

      of course Spoon will have to give the "official" abbreviations that he wants as they are all his programmes :happy:

      11 programmes and one developer!

      and of course maybe some future additions.

      dap streaming audio and dap DVD/video player :nospeak:

      and i suspect "DVD Audio Ripper" will be a seperate programme?

        > dai? or dax? = auxilliary input

        dAI - I am thinking of making its own install so it will get more exposure.

        > da? arip? = dbpoweramp accuraterip

        For this one just AccurateRip, no dBpoweramp as it will appear in other programs.

        When I do the text to speech it will be dBpowerAMP Speak Easy - dse

        >dmcpp? pp? dpp? = dbpoweramp music converter power pack
        >dmcfs? fs? dfs? = dbpoweramp music converter file selector
        >asd? = Spoons "auto shut down"
        >sir? = Spoons "installer"
        >dsd? = dbpoweramp skin designer

        I wouldn't bother with these, full names are fine as they only serve to confuse.
