    Query on purchase of dMC+products

    :blush:
    Excuse me for an ignorant query!!

    Are the basic products (without the mp3 encoders/power packs) free?
    That is:
    dMC without mp3 encoder = Free? ($14 for full encoder version)
    dAP = Free?
    dCD without mp3 encoder = Free? ($17.95 for full encode version)

    At the end of the 30 trial period, is it mandatory to register for the product? Even if it the free version?!

    Again, sorry for a seemingly ignorant question!!

    dMC will come with a fully functional 30 day trial of the Power Pack (and MP3 encoder) (assuming you have not previously used a 30 day trial version of the Power Pack and/or if you do not already have a registered earlier version of the Power Pack-in which case you ccan simply upgrade to a later registered version). At the end of 30 days, dMC will remain fully finctional EXCEPT for the Power Pack/MP3 encoder. You will get reminders that your trial has expired each time you open dMC until you turn off the alert.

    dAP remains pretty much fully functional beyond 30 days (there are a few Power Pack features for dAP you will lose but these are fairly minor).

    dCW (the CD Writer) will stop being functional once the 30 day trial is over.

    Hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
    Bill
