Rename the name of the files

    Hi,

I have bought some music from Qobuz. I would like to rename the files.
    With CD Ripper, I set up a dynamic naming ex [IFVALUE]album artist,[album artist],[IFCOMP]Various Artists[][IF!COMP][artist][][]\[album]\[artist] - [title].

Is-it possible to rename the file...

Now in release 17.1 for some reason it's replacing questions marks with Latin small letter...

  • Track renaming: Advantage of prepending track* to track title?

My legacy music library does not include the track number or artist in the MP3 filename, so my filenames end up like 'Let It Be.MP3' in the 'Beatles' and 'Let It Be' artist and album folder hierarchy. I notice that the default dbpoweramp ripping configuration generates a more complex filename composed...

Is it possible to include [ or ] in a filename?

I understand that the filename tags use [ and ] to indicate the tag, ie [artist] or [album artist] or [disc].

I would like my FINAL filename to be: Best of Oldies but Goodies, Volume 1 - 1.04 - Sea Cruise [Erankie Ford]
I can get this: Best of Oldies but Goodies, Volume 1 - 1.04...

Ripping and naming multi cd collections

    Hi All,

I've been working on path and file naming
    [genre]\[album artist][IFCOMP]Various Artists[]\[album][IFMULTI] (Disc [SETLEN]2,48,,[disc][])[]\[IFCOMP][SETLEN]2,48,,[track][]-[artist] - [title][][IF!COMP][SETLEN]2,48,,[track][] - [title][]

    [IFVALUE]composer bug?

    [IFVALUE]composer,[composer],[Artist][]

doesn't seem to work when no composer. it writes the literal "composer" rather than the value in the tag [Artist]
At least that's true in the set file name example in dbpoweramp cd ripper.
