New User downunder (Sydney, Australia) trialling CD Ripper for the first time today. Perhaps foolishly, I have volunteered to assist a 'challenged' colleague by ripping multiple Audio-Book titles to MP3 for him, however many of the titles are multi-disk sets of up to 10 CD's.

Do you know in which format should I record the files? Would a WAV at 44khz suffice and then I convert to the required specs after or would this cause distortion...
