APE-codec installed but not found

I did install the APE-codec. Installation was succesfull, the Monkeys Audio dll-files are in the same maps as the MP3 en FLAC-dll-files.

When I try to convert an APE-file I get this message: Error: Unable to load decoder for file type '.ape', codec not installed? visit 'Codec Central'....

I work in a Mac environment and bought DBpoweramp for its batch convert capacities specifically for use with a host of APE file I have.

Now it seems that it does not support this conversion in a MAC environment. Am I right about this?

If I am right, two further questions:...

I've got some .ape files that need to be converted. Is this possible? Maybe in the next release?
I can use Switch to do it, but it's not as thorough in it's processing as dBpoweramp is.

When I convert from WAV to APE within dMC, all my markers and regions are lost.

However, doing the conversion within Monkey's Audio's standalone encoder/decoder, they are all retained.

Is this something dMC can incorporate soon? It's frustrating to have to use two programs...

Is there a way to Convert the CUE & APE file into the individual component songs (with Title, etc...)

I have 2 large .APE files with associated .CUE files (listing the song titles and timing breakdowns). I tried to conver the APE file solo, but it just converted to one large MP3 file....

I have some Ape music I'd like to convert to flac. I know if I convert ape to wav then wav to flac I will not lose any quality in the conversion but i will lose the tags. If I do a straight ape to flac conversion which seems to maintain the tags will it lose any quality or is it smart enough to convert...

Could dBpoweramp split an APE album with the CUE file?
