Sampling rates restriction to 96 kHz?

The Batch Converter will not work on 24 bit FLAC files, returning the following error:
"unable to create output file"
I have confirmed this with 4 different 24 bit works from different retailers, so the files cannot be corrupt.
The PC version converts them fine.

I just purchased dBpoweramp Ripper/Converter.
All ripped FLAC-files have a Sample Rate 44,1kHz and Size 16bit.
How can I set (change) the Sample Rate and Size?
