Can't detect any key discs with new drive

    Hi,

I just recently purchased a new DVD-RW drive, an ASUS - DRW-42B1ST j. I needed to replace a very old late 2000's BD-R drive which stopped working. I've ripped hundreds of discs using the old BD-R drive which always worked fine with AccurateRip configured. But my new ASUS drive is...

  • dBpoweramp / CD Ripper -- Logs (like EAC/XLD) and Autoloaders?

Maybe I missed it, but is there a way to obtain a log of CD encoding?

EAC [Exactaudiocopy] and XLD do this and provide 'proof' of Accurip results; whether the encoding had errors; CRC's, etc.

I'd like to do a big batch, maybe using an Autoloader (like the Acronova

  • Very different number of AR matches on same track ripped on 2 drives

Ripped a scratched-up thrift store CD and it ripped accurately. But while 22 of the 23 tracks had showed 116 or 117 matches or so, track *4 had only 3 (but still considered an accurate rip.) I decided to rip the same CD on another machine (1st time I've done this) and this time it came back with 79...

  • Pioneer BD-RW BDR-UD04 Inaccurate Rips Every Time

Just got a new Verbatim KIAB, which shows as a Pioneer BDR-UD04 in dBpoweramp. On first use it did the Accuraterip configuration and set the appropriate offset of +667.
However, when I tested the drive with multiple CD, every track returned a rip status as inaccurate.
    I have another drive...

  • AccurateRip reverse engineering from lossless audio - how?

can lossless files (wav, flac, alac) based on the file itself be reevaluated if they are ripped accurate?

i found a tool in git-hub "accuraterip-checksum" which computes the checksum from wav files.
    is there way to lookup
    - the confidence level
    - the underlying...

    Determining audio CD pressing offset

Is there any way to exactly determine the pressing offset of an audio cd? I use CueTools to compare tracks to AccurateRip, and I had thought the offset numbers in the logs there were what I was looking for, but I'm starting to understand that those numbers might only be the offset relative to other...

  • Last track of two discs is secure, but does not match Accuraterip

    Hi there,

I had a problem ripping a secondhand audiobook a couple of weeks ago - all tracks were in Accuraterip (although they only had a confidence of 1) and all tracks on the first two discs I ripped verified with the Accuraterip results EXCEPT for the last tracks on both discs. Because...

  • Not in AccurateRip. The last time I ripped it, it was.

Now that the holidays have passed, I'm re-ripping some Christmas discs to match my standard archival process. The first time I ripped the 5-disc set, all discs showed as being in the AccurateRip db, and all discs went through just fine. Now I am re-ripping disc 5 of 'Now 100 Hits: Christmas' (DiscI...

    Data traffic question

When ripping a CD, how much output data traffic does the AccurateRip normally generate? I am online using my cell phone as a hotspot and have the data limit in mind. That’s why I ask.
