It seems for some reason (perhaps only known to Microsoft) that during the Windows 10 update the following locations are being wiped:
File system:
%appdata%\dBpoweramp
In the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Illustrate
if you have browse trees in Asset, or special settings for CD Ripper or Batch Converter profiles, you need to backup these locations before running the update.
Backup the folder by right click on it >> Send to >> Compressed Zip. To do the registry, in to the start menu type: regedit
browse to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ right click on Illustrate and select Export.
After the update you can double click on the exported registry item to import it, and unzip the dBpoweramp folder and manually copy back to appdata.
