If you wish to recieve an email when news is posted in the "Recent News & Releases " forum just click on that forum and scroll down towards the bottom left to see "Subscribe to this Forum" just below the "new thread" button.

you must register on the forum so you get the email when Spoon posts a new release or update. this will ensure you get the latest updates.

also you can then go to your "profile" and can see you are subscribed to that forum with the option of unsubscribing anytime you wish.

looks like it doesn't work. i asked vbulletin support about it and they said it will work in vb3.

well i did find another quick solution i never saw before.

go to your profile > edit options >

scroll down and look for the words

"Allow Bulletin Board Administrators and Moderators To Send You Email Notices?"

and click yes or no.

and all Spoon has to do is send an email from the admin panel and only those who ticked yes will get an email update.
