It'd be nice to have a util DSP thats similar to the reverse of "write metadata file."
Intead of exporting the metadata to a file, it would read the metadata FROM the file. It would have to be in a very specific format to be read from, so I'd suggest requiring the format to be identical to the XML file written by the "write metadata" DSP with no stylesheet.
