    Writing metadata to file

I would like to have dBpowerAMP CD Ripper rip files and put the metadata in an xml file or a file readable by texteditor.

That means I would like it to rip to:
    musicFileName.flac (with ID3 + APE2)
musicFileName.xml (all the metadata for the musicFile, the same as in the ID3).

Do you think it is possible?

Can you implement this in the R12 or is it completely out of the picture?

I don't think there is the demand.

Once R12 is out, it would be quite easy to implement using a DSP effect.

I don't know how a DSP works, is it written in DBPowerAmp scripts or c++ ?

Then I would like to try to make an DSP.

I have tried to download the Example DSP Effect DLL. And compiling it with Visual Studio 2005 express C++, but it won't compile.

Do you plan on making an example of DSP with Visual Studio 2005?

It does not look like you can change anything than the wave output, but don't know if thats because I have not understood the current DSP effects or you only can get the metadata in the new R12?

The example effects are only for R11.5 and previous. There is no examples yet for R12 as the interface could easily change until release.
