Re: dBpoweramp R16.1 Beta [Windows] Discussions
I was wrong about this all the time: it seems the UPC was pulled from AMG and not read by my CD drive. I thought this was a pretty straightforward task for a CD drive but not so.Leave a comment:

What I am seeing is that the on some cd's the first/only character in the genre field is a box (outline). I've seen it do the decode correctly too. On the next cd I see it on I'll post a dump of the CD-TEXT.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16.1 Beta [Windows] Discussions
I have just tried, took a single track 'Ray Charles', set naming to:
C:\somefolder\[artist]\[title]
Added conditional encoding to copy 1:1 if had bitdepth less than 24 bit (source file did), and it copied the file and created the folder.Leave a comment:

[re: Arrange Audio failing on last file] Thanks for flagging it Marcello and Spoon for fixing it. I experienced this problem but assumed I had left a file open in a media player, etc.Last edited by Maxpower; July 17, 2016, 10:26 PM.Leave a comment:

Describe the issue more please, in all our testing discs with genre as a number is correctly resolved to the genre value, you are getting numbers as genre?Leave a comment:

Starting from R16, both my CD/DVD drives aren't able to read the UPC code. Reinstalling R15 solves the problem. Can this be fixed?Leave a comment:

CD-Text Genre Still does not handle the first Genre Record correctly.
Should I just stop asking about this?Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16.1 Beta [Windows] Discussions
There's still a problem in R16 b3 on conditionnal DSP with option "48khz or below"' on Sample rate parameter. Probably because I combined it with Bitdepth "24 bit or below".
My conditional parameters:
Action : Copy Source to Destination
Bitrate : (not checked)
Bitdepth : 24 bit or below
Has extension : nothing
Sample rate : 48khz or below
General : (not checked)
And i have DSP resample with min/max 8000/48000, and DSP Bit depth with min/max 8 / 24.
In source files, I have a flac in 24 bit / 96khz. This file is copied by the batch processing, not converted. Probably because it is a 24 bit flac file, regardless sample rate.Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16.1 Beta [Windows] Discussions
Thanks Spoon!! That was the ticket - working perfectly now. Should that setting be defaulted to 'ripping directly to final filenames' on installation over an old version? I don't think I changed that option and wouldn't have know where to find it without your help.
That's wjy you're "Da Man".Leave a comment:

Re: dBpoweramp R16.1 Beta [Windows] Discussions
It will be a miss interaction with the XML writer and the new option in CD Ripper to rip to ._ temp files, Open CD Ripper >> Options Menu >> CD Ripper Options >> 'When Ripping' change to 'Rip direct to final filenames'Leave a comment:
