Maming is not the issue at this time. Path is the issue . . I think. But. This is where I'm lost. Have no idea what an "encoder" is. Can I re-install the db app? Is the info. in a sample tutorial I haven't found? I obviously have messed something up. -
Are you talking about the "Naming" in the main window? You can configure your own individual naming if you click on the set button in the main window of CD Ripper. Otherwise you can specify your naming for each encoder clicking on "Settings" if you use multi-encoder.

Are you there. The only path available in the drop-down is the one I'm using.Leave a comment:

If you are referring to the naming selection; only available is AlbumArtist\Album\TrackNum - Title. In the CD Ripper Naming the Default is clicked then OK. Status is still the same. I find no way to select artist\album\track#. It is not an option/available. I have been trying to investigate in your tutorials and various links and am still stranded with my tracks being orphaned in separate folders.Leave a comment:

The default path is:
artist\album\track# - title
For compilations it is in Various Artists first.
On the Naming page click 'Default' to put as the above.Leave a comment:

Profile is "default" [set] in path takes me to Win. explorer. {set} in naming gives me a box maybe for writing script or directions I have not gotten into yet. My rip's are still ending up in a sub-folder of the cd name while that is in a sub-folder with the artist name that is in the folder in the "path"Leave a comment:

Converting or ripping a CD?
You can always click [Set] then choose [Default] to get back to the default naming.Leave a comment:

Locating all tracks of a CD in one folder
So I thought I could improve the naming to my preferences. What I have now is the track being located in a sub-folder (cd title)that is in another sub (artist name) in a sub-folder that I selected. Can I get back to selecting just the path without all the sub's ending up with a single track orphaned? The [set] for path did at one time give me all tracks together in just one folder. Hope this makes sense, I've got a headache chasing this issue.Tags: None
