well am still using win98 and a cheap mp3-player that obviously plays the mp3-files right in the order he receives it in its fat(16)-structure: and allows NO managing/arranging e.g. in alphabetical order if he got them... (if you delete a file in the same folder and upload a new one to it it slips in its place...)
as far as i know (and as i remember to having read about...) it is a known "bug of win98" that he transfers (or at least places!) the LAST file first, then the second, third, ...etc... and finally the FIRST...!
was looking at microsoft for a patch but found no yet...
i see two possible remedies:
patch win98-file-transfer-order
OR
changing the entries of the file-structure in the mp3-player later on
(or exept it or or by now know about that and change the last and the first file by their number... -what i think is not perfect)
any help folks?!
