Told Christine i would let her know.......
I found a mini-system - Panasonic Model SA-PM19 (no line-out).
Anyway, the headphone out to line-in on the PC works very good with both
the cd to pc and tape to pc and dBAUX has no problem creating the music
files using this method.
Just had to reset the Auto-stop timings for recording from cassettes.
Auto-start record @ 3% for 250ms.
Auto-stop record @ 1% for 3500ms.
In this case a manual stop was better, less dead space.
The unit came with a cassette deck, a 5 cd-changer, nice speakers
and, of course a remote control (just what we need, another remote). I just
had to buy the cable (headphone to line-in) since none was supplied.
The tape-to-pc-to-cd transfer/conversion didnt seem to lose anything as
far as i can tell. My ears are like my eyes, not exactly 20/20.
So, wrap up, a neat little system that has no problems playing or feeding to
dBPower at all. Cost in US - 157.00 (no idea what that is in Canadian).
