Best Bridges for C2

I am wondering if anyone knows what the best type/brand of bridges are for passing C2 data in dBpoweramp from external drives?

I guess the options for type would be USB, Firewire, or eSATA, and brands would include all of the companies that make the different chip sets for the controller boards for these bridges.
