Anyone have a recommendation or favorite piece of software along the lines of iTunes or Musicmatch to organize and use a huge music library? I have been using the MediaMonkey and their newest beta version for a long time, and have pretty much loved everything about until I recently switched to using dMC to re-rip my CD collection. It seems that with many of the codecs (in my case flac and/or ape) MediaMonkey simply does not properly handle tags that contain multiple artists. Consequently I must either switch all the problematic tags to the incorrect format that MediaMonkey uses (which I am very hesitant to do), or find a different program that reads and writes the tags the way they should. Ideally the software would be able to edit tags and save them in a format fully compatible with dMC; use them to rename files and directories; and present the library in an appealing tree type user interface. Currently I have not yet found a program (including dAP) that will even make satisfactory use of multiple artist tags at all when they are written by dMC.
I'm at a loss here, so any advice on this difficulty or recommendations for alternative software would be truly wonderful.
