More DSP Effects in Video Encoder

    Hello,
many movies are in Original too much dark and with the choosable "Brightness/Contrast" under "DSP" I can't get good results.
How is the format of the DSP Plugins ? Can I freely download them somewhere to get more or have they a special format which is only compatible for dB Video Converter ?
I would like to have a "Gamma" slide or/and better "Brighten Shadows an Darken Highlights". And a second saturation slider named "Vibrance".

    with kind regards, Rudi

It is not possible to supplement the DSP effects.

I will look into the points you have raised.

New to this,Just. updated to r22026 and I am looking for :
      • Missing DSP Tab: If you do not see the DSP tab, ensure you have the Reference version of dBpoweramp installed, as standard versions may have limited DSP support.

      • • Empty List: If the list of effects is empty, you may need to download the "DSP Effects" pack from the dBpoweramp Codec Central.

I have been using dbpoweramp since 2015 I have had to update to 2026 version because of my MacBook M3 and getting my 3000cd library,==way to Plex--- the whole library i All mine and personally ripped every one except about 80 purchases from Apple and am also with iTunes and iTunes Match---recently since an update (Case still pending) apple has turned into a 19,000 album library.all because they all disappeared and come back as a ""big bloat

          Hello ,
thank you for planing the filters.
The second thing is to modify the loudness from a movie, but not to exceed the maximum of 0dB (or better 1,5dB below).
I saw the options under the audio menu (EBU R128 (LUFS -23) and other Or Dynamic Gaussian Filter), but I don't know what they do. Is there a description I oversaw ?
At the moment I demux the movie to video and audio, modify audio as wanted an mux it again.

          kind regards, , Rudi

Dynamic range compression is likely the one you want if you want it as loud as possible without clipping.
