    Ripped DVD Data location

Where does dbpoweramp video converter store the ripped DVD data to, not where the file output that I choose, but the cached files, as I had an error on one scene, and I clicked overwrite that track scene again, but dboweramp took the data from the previous extraction from the DVD from the cached memory files. without re-reading the DVD again that I've re-cleaned the DVD again and I want it to re-rip that DVD track again, not from the cached previous rip with the errors on it, I thought overwritibg the track would re-rip the DVD, but it doesn't, so I need to delete these previous ripped data in the cached files in windows 11, but I don't know the location.

    Thanks,
    Paul.

If you try to convert again, the overwrite page will show where the files are.

        Thanks Spoon.
I've re-tried it and it doesn't say the location of the cached files

dBpoweramp does not cache files on conversion

Hi spoon, dbpoweramp video converter is storing the ripped DVD Disc Data somewhere as it reconverts again without re-taking the data off the DVD, the DVD Drive is not spinning, so it just converts the original rip with the ripped errors on it, so I need it to re-rip the DVD ain from the drive fter I have re-cleaned it, nut it doesn't re-rip the DVD in the drive, it seems to have stored the Previous ripped DVD Disc Data somewhere, and it just re-uses that instead of re-ripping the DVD from the Drive again

              Best wishes,
              Paul.

Are you sure you have the right program? the Video Converter is not specifically a DVD ripper, although it would convert the files if in the right format.

Hi Spoon, yes I bought your dbpoweramp Video Converter to rip my DVD's to mpeg4 to my hard drive. and it works great, just like dbpoweramp CD Ripper works, but for ripping my DVD's to my hard drive.

It works exactly the same way for ripping DVD's just like your dbpoweramp cd ripper works, I thought that's what it does, and it does do it flawlessly, apart from the odd disc that needs a re-clean

It just copies the video files, and not any menu files. but I checked and played all the video files and they are all there, and look like HD quality with mpeg 4, they are a larger files size but worth it for the HD like picture quality

I used quality 0 with no compression and lossles audio at 1:1, and I'm very impressed. thanks Spoon
