I'm hosting my music on a TrueNAS Server (makes sharing for streaming easy) which I can pull ~300MBytes/s from (CrystalDiskMark RND4K Q32T32 16MiB Read 336.79MB/s), other may be holding on NVMe SSDs which can handle it

Whilst I appreciate that some might be on HDs, there should be the option for those of us with more powerful systems to utilise that power. Even if it is buried in a manual config file that needs admin rights to edit - those with the knowledge will be able to change it, those without won't

FingerPrint Generating - only 4 processes?

    version 2024.1.9.1

Running a DeDup set off four FingerPrintGenerator.exe processes. However I have a AMD 5950X with 16 cores and 32 Threads as my PC, which isn't being taxed by the four threads

Is there a way to increase the number of processes? (Or say read environment variable NUMBER_OF_PROCESSORS?)
Working...
