Source Location does not persist

Every time I launch an app within Perfect Tunes Control Center, I have to manually remove the Source location & reset it. So, I have to scan the entire database every time I run the app.

I'm on a new PC so its almost certainly setting, but I am struggling to work out what it is.

I am using Windows 11 Pro. & Version 2023-07-11.

Thank you for the reply.

I did wonder about security software. So I disabled antivirus(AVG), and opened Windows Firewall. Neither helped.

When the Perfect Tunes Control Center is launched it sucessfully checks for software updates.

The fact that when manually pointed at the source it works makes me think that perhaps its an issue internal to Perfect Tunes itself.

N.B. The Program is installed on my C Drive & the content is on another internal (E) drive .

Add the new location, quit control centre, then re-run it, did the value stick?

Using the latest version of PerfectTUNES?

Tried starting in Safe Mode, but the source location did not stick.

Version used is 2023-07-11.

It was where I was setting the library to be.

You can either set it in the Music Library window in Perfect Tunes, or you can also set it by hitting the spanner icon within Album Art. I was using the spanner method, which does not allow the location to stick.
